Eco- Edge is a system for applying cutting edges to cling film and foil dispenser cartons, edges that perform efficiently and are safe.
In response to demands from the Uk and European Retail consortiums for a greener and more technically advanced carton blade, Carton Edge Systems have developed and patented and now offer under licence this world class carton edging system. Our unique and technologically advanced system enables the forming and application of bonded blades in a wide range of materials, Recyclable Paper that cuts like metal, Clear APET, metalized APET, Aluminium, and now the new PLA corn starch fully compostable plastic blade is available. These material options coupled to our range of five cutting profiles including the popular Scalene tooth cutter that has teeth pointing outwards from the centre of the carton enabling very efficient right or left handed film cutting .
Four machine types that convert from small domestic size cartons in carton board to large format commercial corrugated cartons enabling our system to accommodate most international carton blading requirements. Indeed Eco –Edge is setting the New World Standard in fully automated carton blade applicators. There is no other blading system that can offer our range of materials be it Plastic Paper or Metal, our system does it all with one machine.
