Back in 1996 the majority of cling film and some foil dispenser cartons carried riveted metal edges in either tin plate or aluminium. With the growing awareness by consumers, government legislation and a strong
commitment by the major supermarkets for recycling of packaging there became established a good platform for
the development of alternative materials and methods of application.
This was our challenge, not just for the UK market but for potential
markets world-wide.
We at Carton Edge Systems have therefore developed our Eco-Edge system into Ten countries world-wide servicing 20 international markets.
Our machines are manufactured in Germany by our partner Heiber + Schröeder.
